Snowed in PM. Jim went back to school today. Has been home since February 25. Jim got “get well” card from Roberta. I didn’t go to grange.

Vernon came home on bus today. First time since January 31. Ann, Julie, Marion, & I went to A&P this noon. Florence B. called.

Vernon did wiring for Howard. Jim went to all day 4-H meeting at Calcium with Ceil. Took Vernon to Theresa for wire.

Grand day. Finished ironing. Had turkey dinner. Took Vernon to city at 9:00 PM.

Rained about all day. Sally, Nellie, & Julie, paid me. Nellie didn’t ride home.

I gave blood at the blood clinic at Philadelphia school. Roads very slippery when we went to work. Got my lamp from $1.00 a week club.

Beautiful day. Frogs are sure hollering tonight. Vernon got home for Easter vacation. Jim had revaccination & tetanus shot.

Nice day. Jim & I went to grange but did not have Juvenile grange. Cut out Brenda’s coat. Got stuck in mud in driveway.

Had flat tire on car in morning. Bob Coco took girls to work. Raining & snowy.

They finished end of barn. Nice day but cold. Nellie & Julie paid me. My only riders today. Made cookies in evening. Mom & Dad went to Uncle Rays.

Mom & Dad came home from Uncle Rays. Mom brought me 6 cups. Made Brenda summer coat. Made Dad a birthday cake.

Easter Sunday. Boys went to Easter breakfast. Dad, Mom, Ken’s & Don’s were here for dinner. Dad’s birthday. Vernon gave Merrill & Jim a candy card. Lyla & Jim & Gary were here.

Grand day. I took Mom & Dad home in morning. Got to work at 9:00 AM. Minnie came back to work so no more repair work.

Did hand sewing about all day. Vernon worked at Howard’s.

Swell day. I went to lodge with Mary H. Past Noble Grands night. Mrs. Hallie Coolidge died today. Marion Pepe gave me bedroom slippers.

Raining. Got Vernon’s dry cleaning. Saw Arlene & she paid me $3.50. Got Aunt Mildred’s diamond ring from Uncle Berle. Sally paid me.

Vernon’s appointment with Dr. Kelsey. Had 2 teeth filled. $6.00. Washed & ironed.

We went to Ken’s for dinner. They went with us to take Vernon back to college. Raining & foggy. Jim came home with us.

We went to Rotary minstrel. Very good. Big crowd. Raining.

I took car up to garage & had oil changed & greased. Merrill went to Burrville. Dot came after Carl.

Cleaned yards. Planted flowers. Daylight saving time begins. Jim went over to Marty Rude’s.

Rained all day. Ann & I went down to her house & ate our lunch.

Raining again today. Merrill went to milk meeting at Philadelphia high school.

4 convicts escaped from Canton jail. Road blocks all over. Ed was here helping Merrill put in cesspool. Mary & I went to lodge. I was on refreshments.

I went back on my old machine today. Did 38 dozen facings. Raining but warm. Got convicts. One killed.
