Administrative Council meeting 7:30. We went, 9 there. Washed Merrill’s work clothes. Got card from Boscheck girls from Florida. Sue here for church money. Merrill washed car.

We took car to city to see about radiator. Needs new one. Got picnic cooler basket and light stick for kitchen at Woolworth’s. Got eye drops and pills. I called for food for Berman funeral.

Ice cream social at Mills. Jolie’s 20th birthday. Merrill took car to Sonny Automotive for new radiator. Cost $203.30. We went to Mills Social. Rain drove us inside. Army band played. Good.

We took food for Berman funeral. Got groceries on way home. Locust are here. They are early this year. Doreen here awhile. She brought Merrill box of corn flakes from Mike from station.

Quaker Days started last night. Ends tomorrow. I took over 3 pies. Jim called. Jolie coming home Tuesday. She’s pregnant by Shawn. Sackets band took 4th place in Washington, DC. Only 80 members in band this year.

We went to church, 40 out. They made $275.50 on sale. We went to Bar-B-Q in PM, and parade. Jim, Joel, here but couldn’t find us at Quaker Days. Jim called from city. Beautiful day.

Got vitamin pill order. Dr. Sommer 12:30. He took impression. Has to send denture to Syracuse. Will be back in about 9 days. Michael was over. Merrill went over to McKeever’s. Garage coming along. Merrill ordered 15 cords of wood.

Vern and June got here about 5 PM. He had been to see Dr. Scanlon about his contacts. June brought delicious raspberry pie for supper. They brought 2 fans with them. A very humid hot day and night. Hit 85°.

Haggerty reunion at Wescotts. About 30-35 there. Nice day. Vern and June came to it in PM. We went to church, 36 out. Carol’s father and a family friend there. A little cooler today. Rained some in places.

Cooler today. Air fresh again. Roger and Gloria Verbridge came about 10 AM. They took us to Greg’s at Gouverneur for supper. Nice. They spent night with us. I got my denture from Dr. Sommer, $108.00.

I sent Mrs. Cameron birthday card. 80th. Cooler. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned floors. My legs hurt. Last day of Watertown Fair. We didn’t get to it this year. Rev. Carol goes to Aldersgate.
