Washed bed sheets and white clothes. Merrill went to store for rolls for church. Rev. Elaine back from vacation. My hip very sore. Linda Belile bought a new camper trailer, 32 feet long.

Raining. Debby and Crystal stopped by on way to Lorraine. Washed my hair. Got invitation to Elizabeth Horton and Kevin Culbertson’s wedding reception. They are being married July 26th.

Ice Cream Social, 5 PM. Made $700. Furnished 1 dozen hot dog rolls. and 1 dozen hamburger rolls. We went. I used wheel chair. Nice music, “Back In time”. Good crowd. B-12 shot, 3rd. Ordered peas and corn, ($44.98) Jim here in PM. Brought me his walker. Gave him cukes. Joel has small truck. Got his driver’s license for bike and truck.

Sent Beulah birthday card and letter. Don has skin grafting on his arm. I’m so sore and lame I can hardly move. Didn’t get dressed today. Rev. Elaine gone until late Sunday, August 7th. Merrill mowed side lawn. Rained hard in PM and evening. Very windy.

Colder, rainy, and cloudy. Merrill went for groceries in AM. Vern called. They had a great vacation. They are coming tomorrow. Bea also.

Vern, June, and Bea here for dinner. They brought dinner, corn, meat loaf, potato salad, and brownies. Great. A beautiful day. Vern cleaned bathroom.

Kristen Tooley preaches. Merrill went to church, 26 there. Beulah’s 71st birthday.

Vacation Bible School through Friday. 5:45-8:15. We washed clothes. I shampooed my hair. Paid bills, car insurance, fire insurance, etc.

Raining. Vi Mowers came over for Merrill to go check on Bill. He put her out of the house. Merrill went over. Bill all calmed down. Merrill took them beans and cukes. He went to store. Jim, Sue, and Ashley here in evening. Had been to Lowville. Vern called in AM about HUD loan. He has looked into it.

B-12 shot, 4th. Merrill went to Pharmhouse. They didn’t have my 4% eye drops.

Dan and Robin’s 4th wedding anniversary. I have rash on my back. Could be shingles.

Hollis Hanson’ 34th birthday. I have shingles this morning. I called Dr. Stark’s office. Nurse said to go to emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center. Dr. ordered Zovirax 5 times a day for seven days. Also water soaks. Talked with Alice F. Merrill went for groceries when we got home from city.

Raining. Froze green bean. Made pudding. Talked with Vi. Martha moved to an apartment at Calcium.

Rained all night real hard. Merrill went to church, 24 out.

Took Zovirax at 3 AM. Washed clothes. Shampooed my hair. I have used up my 10 doctor’s visits covered by Medicaid (September 1-August 31).

My shingles are drying up. They are not so swollen. Still sore some. Washed my white clothes to wear tomorrow.

Dr. Stark, 1:45 PM. He took blood test. I got 5th B-12 shot. Next one in two weeks. He took away my blood pressure pills. I don’t need them anymore 130/70. I weighed 136 pounds today. Lost 4 more pounds in a month Sue B called. I called Jolie. She has new boy friend. I called Don and Juanita. Don’s ski grafting didn’t take. Debby was in hospital with kidney failure awhile back. I called her also.

My shingles not quite as sore but I’m sore all over today. Not very peppy today. Linda Belile got her new self contained camper tonight. Traded the truck and 5th wheeler in on it. Cost $70,000. (300.p.) 32 feet long.

Merrill went for groceries. Merrill mowed lawns. Washed my clothes. Merrill went over to see Linda’s new camper. He says it is beautiful. Even has 2 TV’s. Diesel engine. Alice F called. Merrill sprained his ankle. Esther called in evening. They are going to Indiana Sunday morning. Linda going with them. I finished Zovirax pills tonight.

Merrill took garbage. Vern called in PM. They are coming tomorrow.

Raining. Thunder storm in night. Merrill went to church. 29 there. June and Vern here for dinner. They brought dinner. Vern filled out papers for CAPC [Community Action Planning Council] for us.

Steve and Kathy’s 7th wedding anniversary. Washed my hair and showered. I feel terrible today. Was in bed all PM and evening. Got card from Eleanor Henderson.

Pick up Agway peas and corn, $44.98. Merrill helped men at church on ham supper. Was over there 5 1/2 hours. Lyla was here in PM. We had a good visit.

The State Troopers took Bill Mowers to the Samaritan Medical Mental Health at 3:30 AM. Sent Eleanor H card and note. Merrill did huge wash.

Raining and thunder storms most of morning.

Elizabeth Horton and Kevin Culbertson married tonight. Merrill went for groceries in AM. Washed work clothes. Wayne and Nancy Huntress here. Brought us zucchini bread. Very good.

Vernon and June’s 34th wedding anniversary. Merrill mowed lawns. Got letter from Beulah. Marion Rockwood getting better.

Merrill went to church, 19 there. Robert, Cheryl, and girls here in evening.

Washed white clothes. Merrill went to trustee meeting. Evans Mills trustees there also.To repair parsonage.

Jim has pins removed from his knee today. Called him in evening. It went well. He was feeling groggy.

Vi called. Bill is going to McAuley Hall, Stone Street on Friday.
