Merrill didn’t have to go to Horton’s as it was too wet. I was sick most of AM. Plaquenil pill got stuck in my throat. I had terrible reaction from it.

We went to Sunday School 47, and church 57. Much cooler all day but sunny. No company.

Art and Doris’s 35th anniversary. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. A great day 70’s. Sue here for church money.

Sent report on Collin. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. Nice day, up to 71°. Leaves are falling off our maple trees. Neighbor kids asked if they could play in them after school. Loved to watch them playing.

Rained in evening and night. Merrill got hair cut at Allen’s. He got damper at Mills for furnace stove. He worked at Horton’s in PM. Got letter from bankruptcy court for June’s case.

Agway peas, $18.49. Merrill went to Mills. Raining and colder. Merrill put on storm windows. Had wood fire for first this fall.

Phone changed to basic budget plan. We went for groceries in PM.

I sent $15 to EPIC for first enrollment in program. Vi called. Rebekah’s canceled this meeting as the hall was in use. Claude Simonds in hospital. Had operation. Another growth. Gary and Joey Belile worked at our wood chimney all PM.

Gary finally got chimney cleaned out. It was full of hardened soot. It is a wonder the house hasn’t burned down. Gary tarred roof when he got chimney cleaned. We went to Sunday School 41, and church 48.

I moved plants inside off porch. A beautiful day but cold. Merrill put wood down cellar. I washed Merrill’s work clothes.

Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. I talked with Mr. Egan FHA. Wanda Lancaster called. Needs some one to stay with kids after school.

Merrill worked at Horton’s. I sent letters to bankruptcy court and Junes’ lawyer, Preston Carlisle. Got note from Eleanor. She’s doing fine.

I called for doctor. appointment. Merrill worked at Horton’s. A beautiful day. Wrote Ken and Eleanor.

We went for groceries in AM. Washed clothes. A just great day. 72°. Merrill put wood down cellar. Gary B cut trees down in his front yard.

We went to Sunday School 45, and church 71. Graves girl and 2 kids in church. They live at Philadelphia Courts. I called Wanda Lancaster and told her I would take care of kids after school. I wrote Vern’s. Merrill put wood down cellar.

Lancaster kids, Lora 13, and Eric 10 got off their school bus here for first. Merrill worked at Horton’s. I raked leaves in front yard. I baked cinnamon rolls, cake, and cupcakes. Got my EPIC card. Sent Vern’s and Aunt Maude letters.

Appointment with Dr. Becoff, 9:30. He put me on Aldomet. Lancaster kids started coming here before school as well as after. Aunt Maude fell in her kitchen.

Rained during night. Merrill raked leaves. I baked cookies. Eric broke his toe yesterday playing sac with Joey. Debbie here. She has job on 801 at Calcium.

We went for groceries in AM. Sent Steve card, letter, and $5.00. The stock market better today. Merrill racked at leaves.

Darcy was here. Ordered candy. I washed clothes. Merrill finished raking leaves. Got my first $50 pay check for looking after kids. Made chili.

Eleanor doing great. Ken and Eleanor and Roy here. Ken and Eleanor went to beef auction at Gouverneur. Roy stayed here. All here for supper. Debby stopped in from work. Cha was over. We called Elgin. Olive is back home.

Steve’s 23rd birthday. We went to church 76, and Sunday School 35. Hail storm during night. Twins won World Series over Cardinals in 7th game. Vern and June called.

We canned 7 quarts carrots. Lancaster kids here for 2nd week. We started with AT and T, long distance choice.

Charge Conference at Evans Mills. PPR meeting at 6 with District Superintendent. 7 PM supper and 8 PM meeting. 25 there. Good meeting. Merrill worked at Horton’s all day. Rained in evening. Patty called. Audrey fell and broke her hip. She is in House of Good Samaritan. Had steel plate put in.

Rebekah’s installation, 20 there. Only 6 from Philadelphia. Had salad and rolls. Vi took NG. I’m chaplain again. Merrill helped Carl draw hay to Mills. School bus, Eric’s, 2 hour delay. Water off.

Patty called in morning. Jolie real sick with strep throat and mono. Jim has Monday and Tuesday off this month. They got new living room suit yesterday. Randy took our junk to landfill. Had 28 kids and Buffy here for Halloween.
