Uncle Len’s were here a few minutes in PM. Merrill helped Lynn Hall put up TV antenna. Jack & Ethel Tousley have baby girl.

WCNY-TV went on air at 8:00 PM. Very good. Mrs. Flood & girls were here. Merrill & Jim went uptown to see about lodge dining room.

I rode to city with Hank Shell. We went to party in evening at Floods. Had very nice time. About 50-60 there.

Merrill took car to Gouverneur to get generator fixed. $22.00. Lucy Hunter had accident on Evans Mills overhead. I went to city with Hank Shell. Didn’t go to Rebekah’s.

Drove to work today. Merrill helped Howard fill silo. Made 42 dozen facings today. Most yet.

Dad Tryon’s 76th birthday. We took Vernon to city at 9:00 PM.

Very cold & frosty this morning. Clara Mount’s funeral today. She died Saturday night.

Made $1.70 today. 5 dozen facings. Merrill, Jim, & I went to open house meeting at Theresa school. Very nice. I didn’t go to lodge.

Grand day. Went to bank for Vernon during noon hour. Ate lunch with Aunt Myrtle. Jim didn’t have school today.

Cleaned kitchen floor & cleaned. Merrill & I went to city. Got battery for tractor. $6.98 & old battery.

Raining. We all went to church. Shellacked stair steps. Chuckie Wilson was here to see Jim in PM.

Warm today. I started working on darts today. Home Bureau meeting was canceled. That was supposed to be here tonight. Lynn was here plowing.

Finished ironing. Cleaned. Didn’t go to church. Snowed all day. Very slippery. Lots of accidents. 100 cars stalled on Hoodoo Hill. Snow plow by for first time this year.

Lucy didn’t ride today. Very slippery in morning. Got letter from Marg & Mom. Nellie paid up for what she has rode. $4.75.

Vernon came home for Thanksgiving vacation. Got in city at 5:30. Lucy didn’t ride home in evening. Very slippery in morning.

Cloudy. Vernon dressed turkey. Made cake & got turkey ready in evening. Flaherty brought coal.

Thanksgiving. We were home alone all day. Grand day. Had turkey dinner.
