Easter Sunday. I helped on Easter Breakfast. Only about 50 there. We went out home for dinner. Uncle Berle was there.

Bill Mowers birthday. (35 years?) Vernon’s appointment with Dr. Bleibtrey at 1:30. We all went to city. Merrill went to Lodge.

Worked at boys room. Went over to Mrs. Hagan’s in morning.

Lodge entertained the IOOF. We all went. Boys went to show. Treasure Island. Painted boys bedroom.

Home nursing lesson. 8th. I went with Helen. Got our Red Cross home nursing book. $.60. Haven’t felt good all day. Terrible headache.

Feeling better today. Worked at boys room. Baked. Got letter from Mother Tryon. Elmer was married March 3 to Melba Hazelwood.

Painted ceiling in boys room. Baked & cleaned.

We went up to Don & Juanita’s for dinner. Went to sugar woods. Juanita’s family was there also.

Washed. Raining. Boys went back to school from Easter vacation. Did ironing. Merrill went to Lodge.

W.S.C.S. I went. It was at church. Home Bureau meeting at Rosie Hulburt’s. I went.

Painted bedroom floor. I went to Grange in evening.

Home nursing lesson. 9th. I went. Boys rode bikes for first this year. Merrill & I went to city. Wrote Mom & sent card to Tryon’s.

Frogs are croaking for first. I had charge of dining room for district past grands meeting at Grange Hall. 62 present. Nice day.

Settled boys room Grand spring day. Cleaned & baked. Merrill & I covered rocking chair with plastic.

We went to Adams for dinner. Mother & Dad Tryon’s 45th wedding anniversary. I made them cake. Took them box of candy.

Washed. Did part of ironing. Merrill went to Lodge. Went over to Vi’s in PM to plan supper. Merrill started building fence.

Dad’s birthday. We all went to show in evening at city. Prince of Peace. Raining. Gave myself Toni Wave.

Cleaned bathroom. Went to Lodge in evening. Rainy dark day.

Home nursing lesson. 10th. I went. Vi & I went to city in AM. Raining very hard in evening.

Friday the 13th. Baked pies, cakes, & cookies. Cleaned. Wrote Ken’s about calf.

Our circle had cafeteria supper at church. Made about $50.00. Good turn out.

Rainy, cold day. We didn’t get around in time for church. Windy.

Washed kitchen ceiling & some of wood work. Merrill went to Lodge. Rainy & cloudy.

Cleaned registers & playroom. Rainy.

Washed clothes & slip covers. Merrill, Jim, & I went to Grange.

Home nursing lesson. 11th. IOOF dance. I went to Nursing class. Merrill & I went to the dance. Only 107 tickets sold.

Cleaned living rooms. Kind of tired today. Quite cold. Windy today. Ancil McQueen died at 4:30 today at Massena.

Cleaned dining rooms. Grand day. Mrs. Kiechle was over a minute. Made cake for Grange supper.

Went out home for dinner. Uncle Berle came for supper & stayed all night.

Nice day but windy. Uncle Berle went home about 2:00 PM. Uncle Carl & Aunt Keitha, Mom & Marg, were here for supper. They went to Ancil’s funeral.

Did a huge washing. Rained in PM. Did ironing in evening. Have sore throat tonight.

Merrill went to Lodge. Meeting at Depauville. Grand Master of the State of NY was there. I didn’t go to Lodge. Raining. Have sore throat.

Home nursing lesson. 12th. Home Bureau meeting at Flora’s in evening. Sewing machine attachments. I went to both. Cleaned sun porch and painted sun porch floor.

Ironed slip covers. Fixed Vernon’s band pants. Went over to Helen’s after thread.

Vernon went to Potsdam with band. Merrill, Jim, & I went to city. Got Jim new shoes. Got cloth for 2 dresses.

Jim & I went to church. Had to have vet for cow. Had milk fever.

Washed & ironed. Waxed kitchen floor. Merrill went to Lodge.

W.S.C.S. all day meeting here. Tied name quilt. I went to Home Bureau meeting at Irma Bennetts. I had to take Marg.

We all went to Grange. The Millers, Shelmedine’s, & Mrs. Weal made their official visit. I was on refreshment committee.

Home nursing lesson. 13th. Sleepy today. Vernon Campbell’s barn burned at 1:30 this morning. Merrill & I got up & went to fire. Test in home nursing.

Merrill started fitting ground for first. Willard Eddy’s house burned about 5:00. I went over to Aunt Maude’s. Was over to Vi’s.

Cheryl was here all day. Nice day. Baked pies, cake, & filled cookies. Another fire tonight. Grass fire. 3rd fire. We went to the show.

Jim & I went to church. Nice day.

Washed clothes. Vi & I went to city. Got house dress. Merrill went to Lodge.

Mother & Daughter banquet. I worked in kitchen. Got home at 11:00 PM. Had 125 besides 18 helpers.

Have terrible cold. Sure tired today. Went to Lodge in evening. Rainy. Helen & I made plans for Home Bureau party.

Musical at school. Boys & I went. Very good. Vernon played in band. Merrill worked on land. No grain in yet.

Raining again. Home Bureau covered dish supper at Helens. 19 there. Had grand time. Merrill & I went to city. Got yellow dress.

Baked cake to take out home. Finished ironing.

Mother’s Day. We went out home for dinner. Took Mom apron. Stopped at Merrill’s folks. Took Mother Tryon 2 plants. Moved lawn.
