Wrote Mom & Juanita. Men threshed at Win Bacon’s. Finally finished haying. Went to G.L.F. meeting. Won can [of] oil.

Helen & boys brought over sweet corn. Men threshed at Bechard’s. Jim not feeling good. Vernon got 10 bullheads by bridge. Beulah & Glenn have baby boy. Timothy Sheldon.

Brought the threshing machine here. Awfully hot. Jim not feeling food. Wrote Doreen. Talked with Helen & Mrs. Hagan. She’s home for weekend from Massena. Brought load of lime.

Went out home for dinner. Vernon took Mom out lamp & fish. Got plums, peaches & tomatoes & apples at Greco’s. Awfully hot. Vernon got 7 baby rabbits at Mrs. Rawlings.

Canned 56 quarts of stuff. Threshed in PM. Not very good. Brought 4 loads of lime. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Washed clothes. Men started spreading lime. Awfully warm. Talked with Helen.

Lodge opens again. Went to Lodge in evening.Sent 2 cows & bull to sale. Wrote Mom’s a card. Boys got cards from Mom & Dad. Got letter from Doreen. Men filled silo at Kavanoughs.

Finished ironing. Talked with Helen. Men filled silo at Watts.

Not feeling good. Men helped fill silo at Bacon’s. Merrill got new water tank for barn yard.

Uncle Ray, Aunt Maude & Doris went to Canada. Coming home tomorrow. Still not feeling good. Talked with Helen. Kessel got through work tonight. Men helped fill silo at Webb’s.

Feeling better. Went to church. Went over to Glen Wallace’s in PM. Over to Helen & Carl’s in evening. Vernon caught 17 fish.

Washed clothes. Wrote Mom. Merrill started plowing. Jim & I went over to Aunt Maude’s.

Ironed clothes. Merrill filled silo at Louis Rappoles. Started dress. Talked with Helen. Jennie’s house burned.

Frost last night. First this fall. Vernon’s birthday party. Addie Klock & 5 boys were here. Vernon was elected President. Allan Stalder, Secretary & Wayne Sharkey, Treasurer. Talked with Helen. Merrill helped at Carl’s.

Real hard frost lst night. Wrote Polly. Went over to Aunt Maude’s & canned 12 pints corn. Got letter from Mom. Talked with Helen.

Washed clothes. Baked. Went to Lodge. Election of officers. I’m Chaplain now. Had spaghetti supper. Talked with Helen.

Went to city & out home. Took Vernon out. Talked with Helen. Aunt Maude, & Lucille Allan. Got Jim new shoes. $2.69. Got new filler for my pen.

Dad’s got electric power turned on. Leah & Claude’s 11th anniversary. Went to anniversary party at Howard Allen’s for them. Had swell time. Kessel was here for supper. Came after his clothes. Helen here for curlers.

Leah’s birthday. Talked with Leah. Was over to Aunt Maude’s. Still quite cold.

Went out home for dinner. Went up to Carey’s. Dad’s got the power turned on last Friday. Uncle Ray helped milk in morning. Machine was [?]

Washed & ironed.Sent order to Spiegel. Sent to Sears for lamp for Dad. Made pickles & picked pears. Raining. Merrill went to Lodge.

Awfully cold. Baked.Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen. Merrill put windows in barn.

Vernon has appointment at 2:00 PM. Dr. McAshkill [?] Boys & I went to city. Vern has to have glasses. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Cut out suit. Made skirt. Talked with Leah & Helen. Wrote Mom & Florence. Warmer today. Leah & I went to Lodge at Theresa. Ralph Hall is in hospital.

Talked with Aunt Maude. Went over to Vi’s to plan church supper. Mrs. Hill went with me. Went to show in evening. Ben went with us. Was over to Mr. Keichels awhile.

Took Vernon to city to get his glasses. $15.00. Merrill & I painted house in PM.

Uncle Lloyd’s, Beulah’s & Uncle Ray’s were here. Cheryl is walking all over. Very warm & nice. Vernon went to Sunday School.

Did ironing. Helen & boys were over. Beulah & Aunt Maude called. Went to W.S.C.S at Adah Bacon’s. Gave myself Toni Wave. Aunt Mildred went to hospital.

I have terrible cold. Installation at Lodge. I’m Chaplain now. Got home at 2:00 AM. Talked with Helen & Aunt Maude.

Got letter from Mom saying Aunt Mildred is in Mercy Hospital. Finished making suit. Talked with Aunt Maude & Helen.

Not feeling good. Helen & boys were over. Merrill painted on barn. Went to show in evening. Wrote Aunt Mildred & Mom Tryon. 

Canned pears. Helped Merrill paint on barn.

Talked with Mrs. Kiechle.Went to church. Rally Day Program. Had covered dish dinner at church. Went up to see Aunt Mildred in PM. Mom & Dad were there.

Cheryl went to hospital. Betty Hanson Belcher has boy 9 lb. 12. oz. Washed clothes.Went over town. Merrill started plowing across tracks. Wrote Mom, Gloria & Aunt Mildred.

Leah tried road test. Went over there in evening. Sent card to Florence.

Went to city with Merrill when he took calf up. Aunt Mildred had operation. I stayed at hospital until after operation. Saw Lawrence. Helped with supper at church.

A grand day. Talked with Helen. Feel kind of tired. Aunt Maude called.

Kind of windy in PM. Aunt Maude, Jim & I went to city. Merrill & Uncle Ray went after potatoes. Merrill went to Lodge in evening. Is a fire on reservation. Washed. Talked with Helen, Leah.
