Canned 11 pints of pork. Got letter from Elmer. Is S 2/C [Merchant Marines]. Ken & Buster took physical exam at Syracuse. Jimmy is sick.

Made ice cream (chocolate). Stayed home & read funnies. Jimmy isn’t feeling too good yet.
