WSCS at Leah Simonds. Mary and I went. Mary and I went to city. She went to Dr. Grace. Marg, kids and I went to Theresa funeral home to Lisa Lamic’s wake, age 3. 17 below at 1:00 pm. Cold all day.

Sent income tax. $201.83. Made 6 pies and 6 dozen cookies. I went to World Day of Prayer service in evening. About 40 there. Wrote Jim and sent Valentines.

Milk meeting at 1:30 pm. Got 3 pound butter. Cleaned house. Wrote Steve and sent his valentine. Jim got back income tax. $90.58

Sent Good Housekeeping magazine for June, 1 year. Wrote Jim and Vern’s. Went to Philadelphia and Theresa. Got hair cut. 4-H at Grahams but I didn’t go. Started sewing. Cold in evening.

Sharon Sinclair’s birthday. Still cold. Washed my hair. Cleaned. Martha Carr and Ronald Stanford married at Brownsville Methodist Church.

We went to church. Jr. Choir sang. Cold only 10 degrees above all day.

Past Grands at Leah’s. I didn’t go. Roads slippery and snowing some. Merrill worked at cupboard drawers. Much warmer. Got Spiegel catalog.

Merrill went to Fryes for tractor valve. Got invitation to stork shower for Brenda R. Lee Hall here to check stove burner.

Rebekahs. I didn’t go. Vi, Martha, Jeffrey and I went to Vern and June’s for diner. Nice day. No mail.

Vern called about 9 am to say they had a baby boy, Daniel Vernon, 8 pounds, 7 ounces. born about 8 am. Just 19 minutes after June got to hospital. Merrill brought me to Kens. Vern came there. Went to hospital to see June.

Shower for Brenda Rudes at Nancy Ronas. Very stormy day in Oswego. Cleaned, washed, and ironed. Didn’t go to see June tonight. Vern went to see her in afternoon.

Still very stormy. Made cookies. Vern and I went to hospital in evening. Steve stayed at Seguins.

June and Danny came home from hospital at 11 am. June’s folks got here at noon.

June’s folks left about 9 am. Lazy day. June and baby had good day with lots of rest.

Everyone had a very good day. Very stormy all day. Merrill called in evening.

Beautiful day but cold. Sharon Seguin and 2 children were over in am to see Danny. Mom called in evening. Uncle Lloyd was in accident. Not hurt. June’s sister called.

Wrote Uncle Berl. Sent in jury questions. Got letter from Jim. Merrill got 50 piece glass set at Theresa Bank. Martha, Vi and I went to city. Sent orders to Spiegel for dress.

Started painting cupboards. Called Vern’s in evening. All are fine. I went to WSCS at Addie & Edith’s. Got note from Fran S. Dot Charlton has cancer. Sent package to Oswego.

Wrote Jim. I went to city shopping. Got Merrill rubber boots at Kenny’s. $6.00 I put dishes in new cupboards. Called Mom. Ordered top at Sears. I went to 4-H at Norma’s. Real warm.

Wrote Uncle Berl and Sent him late birthday card. Howard was over. Waxed kitchen floor. Lewis Fortin 80 died today.

Girl Scout Sunday. Church was full. Open house in PM. We went up to Aunt Cora’s in PM. Colder

I have had a headache all day. Washed and baked cookies and meat loaf. Merrill went to Agway at Mills. Got new stanchion, rain coat, and garbage can. I went to Dawn Keichels’ to hear exchange student from Panama. Merrill went to Lodge. No meeting.

Made rolls and vegetable soup. Wrote Vern. Got letter from Jim. Betty G. had heart operation in Rochester today. Martha B. called.

Party at Grange for George and Marg Waters. We went. Nice time. Mostly Grangers. Snowing in evening. Called Dr. Kennedy for eye appointment.

Home demonstration here. 9 women, 5 kids. sharon gave rug lesson. Sent in 2 films. Wrote Melba and Roberta. Phone not working in PM.

Roberta’s 15th birthday. Many farmers are dumping milk in milk strike.Cold. Kids called. Are well. Kenny and Brenda Rudes have son Jeffrey Patrick, almost 7 pounds.

4-H demonstration day at Lafargeville school. Cold. Below zero last night. Got letter from June and Uncle Berl. Got letter saying phone direct dialing starts Easter Sunday.

Palm sunday. Still cold. We went to church. Was full. Hall baby baptized. Mary’s grandson.

Wrote Jim. Send card to Branda and Kenny. Got orchid 3 piece dress from Spiegel. I went to city. Got 1 year size suit for Jeffrey Rudes.
