39° and 25°. Partly cloudy. A little sun. Florence, Vi and Sally here. I bought a coffee percolator at Granny’s Attic for $3. My coffee maker quit working. Jessie called to say she has to work at hospital tomorrow. She will come Monday.

Snowing off and on. cloudy all day. I didn’t go to church. It was the Sunday school program with a covered dish dinner. I went to church out here in PM. Their teenagers Sunday school class sang for us. 12 of them. They were great. Afterwards they gave us boxes of home make cookies. Good. I talked with Jim. He’s painting his bathroom.

Colder. I went for coffee and donuts in morning. Vi here. Angie brought me boiled ham. Good. Stone Pres. Church carolers here in evening. Good turnout. Kinney’s guy here to open my Procrit container. They put it in a hard to open one.

-18° and 4°. Below zero all day. Jessie here. We went shopping for groceries at P and C store. Took us the two hours. Cheryl A here. Also Vi. I went up to Vi’s this PM. Vern called in evening. They are coming for Christmas also. I called Shawn Michael to wish him happy 13th birthday.

30° and -2°. Cloudy, cold, slippery. I went to see Dr. Debby Elliott. Vi went with me. We rode with Cheryl. I cleaned house in PM. Vi and Angie here. Ginny from church brought me Christmas box. She brought one for Jim Nash. He wasn’t home so I gave hit to him later.

Windy, rain and hail. I called Jim. Jolie and kids in Pennsylvania. Jolie called later from Jill’s in Syracuse. They had good trip. Spent the night in Pennsylvania. I baked chocolate cake. Vi and Andrea here in PM. Power was off in PM because of the wind. Jim, Jolie, Madison and Shawn Michael here in evening. So good to see them. Kids are so big.

Cold. No snow here. Just a little sun in PM. Vern, June, Jim, Jill, Jolie, Shawn Michael, and Madison here for Christmas dinner and PM. A just great day together. Florence flooded her kitchen again in the evening.

Snow flurries, cloudy and cold. I didn’t go to church. Jolie, Jill and Madison took me to the Red Lobster for lunch. Nice. We went to Sears after. I got Mr. Coffee coffee maker. Jolie paid for it. I also bought myself two sweaters. Jolie, Shawn Michael and Madison here in evening. Vi here also. I visited Florence in AM. I took the Times up to Vi when I got home. I forgot to leave it for her.

12° and -7°. Very cold all day. Jolie called about 9:30 AM. They had started home to North Carolina. Vi and I walked over to hospital for my blood work. Wasn’t bad walking. We saw Lyle Shirtliff. I called Jim in evening. Jolie came back after her glasses after she got on Route 81. She was in Pennsylvania when Jim talked with her. She was planning to drive straight through to North Carolina.

Warmer. Cloudy all day. Vi here for paper. I called Jim. Jolie called him at 11:30 PM last night. They had a safe trip home to NC. Hospital lab called to say one of my elements was high from blood work I had yesterday.

34° and 28°. Warmer but cloudy all day. It is in Times that Alice Porter from here died yesterday in Utica. She would have been 102 this Friday the 30th. She was on of the original residents here at Centennial for 25 years. I washed clothes this PM. Vi and Angie here. Hospital lab called me again. I talked with Lyla. I got a Christmas card and $10 from June Ridsdale.
