Raining most of the day. My breathing not as good today. I went to exercise class. Vi brought me home made pudding. Good. I played Pedro in evening.

53° and 37°. A partly sunny day. Vi was here. Also Lila B. Florence to go to Syracuse today to see her doctor. She has fluid in her legs. Jim here to cash a check for me. He couldn’t get me a filter for my humidifier until next wee. He got a bulb for my ceramic Christmas tree. I washed clothes.

Halloween. 71° and 53°. Warm. Partly cloudy day. Vi and Angie here. Hope in Rochester for check up. Elgin and Carmi called from Canada. Both are well. Florence is back in Syracuse hospital with fluid.

68° and 48°. Partly cloudy. Some rain. I went for coffee and donuts in AM. Good turn out. Vern called in PM to say they were almost ready to leave for here. They got here about 2:30 PM. They brought me a new digital phone answering system. They took me to Club House for supper. They left about 6:30 PM.

Some rain. Cloudy all day. I didn’t get to church. Vi here for Times. I made scalloped potatoes for lunch. Had a port chop with them plus corn. Juanita called in PM. Doreen’s daughter, Darcia had a baby boy born November 1st about 1 AM. Jolie called in evening. Jim has a new car.

48° and 44°. Rainy off and on all day. I had flu shot here in AM. We didn’t have exercise class as Dawn couldn’t come. Angie stopped by. Also Vi. They are getting some rain in California. Some forest fires under control 3500 homes have burned so far. 20 people have died. I went to Centennial meeting in evening.

Cold and no sun. Vi was here. VIP at 2 PM. Mike White entertained us. We had a good turn out. Barb brought us fresh baked cookies for our meeting. I got letter from June and Vern. Jim called in evening. I called Lyla. Marshall and Vicky have purchase offer on their place.

Mostly cloudy. 67° and 35°. Warm and some rain. My arthritis hurting. Hope called and said we weren’t having exercise class again today. I called several. Florence got home last night. I was in to see her. I didn’t go to Pedro. I stayed home to watch the Country Awards show. Very good. Jolie called. She sent me picture of the kids.

46° and 42°. Cloudy all day. My appointment with Dr. LaPoint at 9:45. I took bus both ways. Everything okay. Jolie called at suppertime.

48° and 35°. Cold all day. A little sun. Debby from Dr. LaPoint’s office called and wanted me to come in. my blood very low again and I need to start shots for it. I asked if county nurse could come here to give them. She was across the hall at Florence’s. They set up dates so nurse will be here tomorrow to take tests so I don’t have to go to doctor’s office. I’ll start on Procrit Monday.

36° and 18°. Very cold all day. Sunny. I got my humidifier going today. County nurse Melody Ramsey here to do tests. Blood and urine. First time here. I talked with Vern. June shopping. Juanita called in evening. She and Brenda coming tomorrow.

38° and 13°. I went to emergency room with a bad nosebleed at 8:15 AM. Larry Bush came after me at 10:30. Juanita and Brenda here for lunch and PM. Brenda got subs and fruit. A nice time together. Vi, Florence, Lilia, Sally here. Vi helped me get ready to go to ER. Jim called. Jolie called twice.

Sunny day. I had my first Procrit shot by Debby at Dr. LaPoint’s office. I took bus to and from square. I called Jim. Lyla called. I got get well rooster card from Gloria and roger. Angie and Vi here. Joel and Camille here in early evening. They seem very happy. She is so nice.

49° and 29°. Rained about all day. I haven’t felt as good all day. Vi here in AM. Cindy from SMC called to see how I was doing. I called Vern’s but no one home. Vern called me when he got home.

56° and 48°. Rain. Wind. Thunder and lightning in evening. I played Pedro in evening. 3 tables. We had exercise class at 3:45 PM. I received notice from Epic that I’ve met my copayment limit. I get free prescription until next May. Bless the Epic program. We got a free package of juice and other things from the office of the Aging along with our lunch. I got get well cards from Ruth Porter and Girt Stanton.

50° and 32°. Rainy. Very windy. Snow flurries. Nurse Alice here in AM. She gave me my 2nd shot of Procrit. I did two tubs of laundry. Vi was here for times. Rev. Dora here in PM. She brought me communion. Power off about an hour during night. Wind did lots of damage Oswego way.

34° and 22°. Cold, cloudy, and sunny. I went to Hat Party in Metcalf room in PM. Jim called in PM. Vi here twice. I visited Florence. Her legs hurting.

35° and 17°. A sunny day finally. Old. We went for coffee and donuts. Exercise class at 10:45. Everyone there. Sally here. Also Vi. Martha Mowers Meeks died five years ago today. I went over to see Florence. She feels better today, but can’t eat. Jolie called while I was at Florence’s. Left message. Zack gets home from Florida at 9 PM. He’s been there since Monday with NASCAR. I talked with Lyla.

41° and 29°. Mostly cloudy but nice day. I went to church services here. Very nice. Mike Riesh, a soldier from Fort Drum gave nice sermon. He is just back from 6 months in Iraq. Very called in evening. Jim N brought me church bulletin. Vi here for Times.

36° and 29°. Cloudy and cold. Alice the nurse here to give me my shot. Appointment with Dr. Sanni, 2:15PM. I’m to continue drops. Eye pressure down. 12 and 18. I go back in 6 weeks. Linda B called about VIP. Angie called in evening. Vi here for paper. I got notice that I’ll receive $400 from Heap this winter.

54° and 30°. Nice day. Sunny and warm. I washed seven pair of my dark slacks. Also hand washed three dress blouses and underwear. Vi and Sally stopped by. I went over to see Florence. She’s having a good day. I got birthday card from Patty.

63° and 47°. Raining hard all day. I hand washed some sweaters. I received several birthday cards. Also got a nice letter from Gloria Congdon Verbridge. I went to exercise class. Dawn brought us chocolate cake. I didn’t play cards in evening. I talked with Jim in PM. He and Jill are going to Jolie’s for Thanksgiving. Jolie called in PM. She asked me to come for Thanksgiving also.

Part sunshine part cloudy. I went to Dr. Weinstein’s. I have my colonoscopy January 16. Vi and Dorothy here in AM. Nurse Alice here to take CBC and give me shot. I got more birthday cards.

A nice day. My 86th birthday. Vern called to say they were coming to take me out to supper. We went to bob Evans. I had a steak dinner. A nice evening together. I called Jim. He thinks he has the flu. Barbara C gave me a yellow rose bouquet. Very pretty. I got several more cards. Elgin and Carmi called in morning. Also Lyla and Juanita.

52° and 31°. A beautiful sunny warm day. I went to exercise class. Nine out. Jolie and Madison called. I called Debby in evening. She was getting ready to grill a steak for her birthday. She’s 44. Margaret K called to wish me a happy birthday. Hazel B called.

66° and 34°. A just beautiful day. Like summer. Windows open. I didn’t get to church again. We went to Elks free turkey dinner. A bus picked us up. Very nice. Got a red carnation. Cheryl Ashley was at our table. Jolie called 3 times. Shawn Michael has bad earache. He was feeling better in evening. Vern called in evening. I called Jim but got his voice mail. Jolie said he was at a benefit at Clayton.

61° and 36°. Nice in AM. Rain in PM. Snow in evening. Windy. Jim took me to Dr. Peiperalia (?) to get my nose cauterized. Runny nose on that side all evening. Nurse was here to give me Procrit shot. Florence started her chemo today. She stopped by. Angie and Vi here also.

36° and 32°. Ground covered with snow this morning. Very cold all day. I washed clothes in AM. Vi went to Julie’s at 8 AM. Betty Grieco called. I went to exercise class. 8 of us there. Dawn baked chocolate chip cookies for us. I called Arlene W in evening.

43° and 32°. A sunny day but cold. Vern called in AM. Jim and Jill went to Jolie’s. They left Jill’s at 9 AM. Jim called me at 9 PM. They had just arrived at Jolie’s. The traffic was very heavy. I played Pedro in evening. Only two tables out. Florence was over.

A great sunny day but a few showers in PM. The nurse came about 10:45 to give me my Procrit shot. Vern got here about 11 AM to pick me up to go to Oswego. Steve’s and Dan’s there for a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner together. Eleven of us. I stayed all night. Jim called from Jolie’s in NC.

Raining all day. 46° and 44°. Vern and June brought me home in AM. Good to be home. I slept good last night but I feel tired today. June is a good cook so I ate too much. Juanita called. David cut the big spruce tree by the milk house that dad planted many years ago. It was blocking the driveway to the milk house. Lyla called in evening.

39° and 30°. Ground covered with snow this morning. Snowed all forenoon. A little sun in PM. I went to exercise class. 10 of us out to it. I had another nose bleed at suppertime. Not too bad. No clots.

Cloudy day. Snow melting. I went to emergency room with a bad nosebleed. Was there from 9:30 to 1:30. Went by ambulance and home by cab. Dr. Cathelane packed it. It has been bleeding since 5 PM yesterday. I called Vern’s. Jim called. They got home last night about 9 PM.

46° and 32°. Cold but a nice day. Nurse Jim Topping here to give me my shot. 7th one. Florence gave me a piece of lemon pie. Vi was here. I went to Dr. Bupahlia (?) to get packing out. He replaced it with gel. I may need surgery. Jim took me to doctors. Vern called in AM. I called him back at suppertime. Jim called from Joanne’s in evening. Snowing there. I went to Centennial meeting in evening. Barb C put up tree and decorated Metcalf room for our VIP dinner tomorrow night. Lee helped her. So nice of them.

26° and 16°. Some snow. Some sun. Ground white this morning. I washed my gray robe and green outfit. Our VIP Christmas dinner had 12 present plus Cindy and husband. A nice gathering. I paid Florence $5 toward staff’s Christmas gifts. I received a call from hospital inquiring how I was etc. Vi was here.

36° and 11°. A cold day. Mostly sunny. Kinney’s brought me Procrit and Lipitor. Cost almost $1200 but Epic paid all of it. I went to exercise class. 9 out. Jim called. Also Vern. I played Pedro in evening. My nose still dripping.

34° and 21°. The nurse Bev was here in AM. I gave myself my first Procrit shot (stomach). She did CBC. They decorated for Christmas here today. I got my tree out and some of the decorations. Vi was here. Betty Greico called in evening. Also Jolie called three times. Sue Boschock called for prayer chain for Beth Gleason. Heather has new job in Wyoming.

25° and 9°. A very cold sunny day. Jessie here to clean. We went to drug store and grocery store. I worked at my tree. I gave bag of food for postman’s drive for needy.

Very cold all day. I went for coffee and donuts. Vi and I walked the halls to see Christmas decorations. Angie stopped by. Also Vi. I finished tree. Juanita called. Darcie’s baby has heart on wrong side. Jim called in evening. He was on way to Joanne’s.

25° and 18°. Cold all day. Partly sunny. I went to church here. A good turnout. Nice service. Vern called in evening. Bad fire in Theresa. The Getman House and two other businesses. The Getman house is one of Theresa’s oldest buildings. Little theatre people met there. 14 fire departments and over 100 fire fighters fighting fire in cold temperatures.

30° and 8°. Sunny but cold. I called in order to Lane Bryant for 3 briefs and 2 tees. Sally stopped by twice. I took birthday card down to Marian Carvell. I sent money to Philadelphia and First Church as I haven’t been able to go lately. Vi was here. Jill called. We had a nice visit. I got first Christmas card from Clark and Vivian, a form letter.

Not a bad day. Sunny 36°. Jolie called. She is talking of sending Shawn Michael to Darcia’s. He wants to live with his Dad. Jim N brought me canister of goodies from First church. Jolie sent me a sweet card. Got several Christmas cards.

48° and 28°. A nice day. Warmer. Raining in evening. Windy. I tipped over my Christmas tree and had to decorate it all over again. I played Pedro in evening. 3 tables. Diane served us cake and coffee. I went to exercise class. 10 of us out. Dawn brought us pumpkin roll. Good. I got more Christmas cards.

Raining and cloudy all day. 52° and 34°. Nurse Bev here. I gave myself Procrit shot. Our Christmas supper here by Shuler’s in Metcalf room (pork). Full room. Very nice. Vern called from his way home from meeting in Syracuse. Also talked with Jolie, Jim and Shawn Michael. I talked with Lyla. She has cold. I’m not feeling good tonight.

30° and 23°. Sunny in AM. Cloudy in PM. I’m not feeling too peppy. Vi here. Carthage school chorus here in evening. I sent $5 to AARP.

Sunny day. Cold. I went for coffee and donuts. Not as many out. Exercise class. All there but Betty Ann. Dawn served us an egg roll. She baked it here. Very delicious. Juanita called. I got cute card from Stephanie Cha from overseas. She is expecting a baby boy next month. I just started addressing Christmas cards today. It is getting hard to see to do it. Vi was here.

28°. Very cloudy but a great day. In the news, Saddam Hussein captured in Iraq in a hole in the ground where he was hiding. One of may holes he had. He was found and captured last night, Saturday, December 13th. I finally got started on my Christmas cards for first. Carolers from First Pres. church here to sing for us in evening. Nice. Snowing hard in P 2 inches an hour. Vern called in evening.

Some snow in morning but sunny in PM. Lots on ground this morning school delayed or closed. Alice called and told me to give myself my shot. No problem. I worked at cards. Vi’s 89th birthday. Susan took her out to lunch and shopping. I visited Florence in evening. She’s very dizzy today. Jolie and kids called in evening. I called Jim in evening. He was in Syracuse viewing the Christmas lights. Jolie said Jim’s increase in his disability came through from air force injury.

49°. A sunny day. Warm. He bull dozer moved snow from driveways and piled it in back lawn, windy in evening and raining. I got Christmas cards returned to me as I forgot to put stamps on them. I visited Vi this PM. Her apartment looks real Christmas like. She was here for paper.
