Colder but sunny day. Merrill has cold. I made vegetable soup.

We went to city shopping. Got stuff for Jolie’s shower. Another great day. Vern called in evening. June had tests all day. Tumor is not in her lung. Will know Thursday what can be done for her.

Dr. Kayani’s office called to change my appointment to next Friday at 11. His nurse called back at supper time. Washed Merrill’s work clothes. Tired today.

Halloween. 19 kids here. We went for groceries in AM. A nice day and evening. Merrill’s cold a little better.

Paid telephone bill. Jim called. He’s moving Sue to Lorraine this week. Last of stuff today. Lots of deer up there. Got copy of nice family history from John McKenna

Cloudy and rainy. Washed clothes. Got pink 2 piece dress and Merrill gray shirt from Blair. I called June. Also Jim. Jim called from Lorraine and Jolie in city, 3 way call.

We went to church 62, and Sunday School 40. All Saints service. Jolie’s shower. Got lots of nice things. Merrill went to Sue’s with Jim. Got first snow. Snowing when we came out of church. None in city.

Snow still here and more coming. Recycling starts in Jefferson county today. Philadelphia has been doing it for 3 years now. Nothing to it.

Administrative Council, 7 PM. We didn’t go. Went to vote at 1:30. Wrote June and Vern. Wood chimney is plugged so can’t use it.

Dr. Siegel 10:15. Had pap test. I went back on Plaquenil for my arthritis. 1 tablet a day.

UMW at church, 7:30. Canceled because of slippery roads. Jim called in evening. Merrill went to Mills . We went for groceries in AM. Snowing. I made 2 banana bread. Tired tonight. Arthritis hurts. Sent John Sheley Hanson Family tree.

Dr. Kayani 11 AM. Eye pressure 17 and 16. Got new winter green jacket at Fashion Bug, $64.19. Very cold over night.

Washed clothes. Called June and Vern. News not good. She has to have lots more tests. She goes into hospital in Syracuse on Wednesday. I called Ken and Esther in evening. Jim called. I called Jolie.

We went to Sunday School 43, and church 59. Jim and Jolie here for dinner. Jim cleaned out wood chimney for us. Good to have wood fire again.

No mail or school today. Raining and freezing. Gloria Collins bought Kavanaugh home and she and Noah are all moved in.

Sunny. A little warmer. Washed dark clothes. Vern’s called in evening. June goes into hospital tomorrow. Has operation on Thursday.

Donna ,6 PM. Got home at 9:30. Rebekahs in PM, 9 out. No November 27th meeting. Patty called. Raining in evening. Jim called while I was at Donna’s.

June had operation at 8 AM. They couldn’t remove tumor. She will have radiation treatment. Vern called at 7 PM. Was at Steve’s for night. Jim called twice. Patty called in evening. Gilenda here most of PM. Sue here.

Vern went to hospital early to tell June they couldn’t remove tumor. Called Vernon in evening. June doing okay. One of their yellow cats real sick. Jim called. Gilenda here all PM. Sue picked her up at 4:15. We went for groceries. Wrote June.

Cloudy, but warmer. Washed white clothes. Doris H called. Boyce Roggie in hospital with aneurism. Real bad. –(?) caused him to fall off building. Broke arm and ribs. Snow flurries in evening.

We didn’t go to church. Charge Conference at Mills 5 PM. We didn’t go to it. Jim, Jolie, Merrill and I went to hospital to see June. Had a good day to go. Vern and June doing okay but June not as good. Wants to get home. We got home at 5:30. Howard and Evelyn called. Howard Hall retires November 26.

Sunny day. Warmer. Had 3 way call with Jolie and Beulah. Patty called. Boscheck girls both here. Bob gone deer hunting. I’m tired and sore today. Donnie Hanson out of Army. Medical discharge because of his back. Will stay in Georgia.

Vern called in morning. June’s cancer is Lymphoma. They have decided she will have chemo therapy. Most of her drainage tubes are removed. B girls here this morning.

We called June at hospital. Got birthday card and note from Bea Gehm. We went for groceries. Bob Boscheck got a deer. Will be home tomorrow.

My birthday. UMW at Margaret’s. 10 there. Margaret made me cake with lighted candles. Merrill took Thelma, Leah, and I. Roy brought us home. Heather here most of day. Merrill got 18 pound turkey at Ron’s.

Ken and Esther called in morning. My arthritis bad today. Heather here with Sue’s salad for Glenn’s. Linda, Gary Belile and Brent left for Florida for two weeks today.

Church pie sale. I gave money. We took food for Childs, Glenn funeral. Merrill went to dump Washed clothes. Robbins man cleaned furnace. Jim called in evening. He goes to Cornith (?) tomorrow snow shoeing.

We went to Sunday School 47, and church 60. Snowing when we came out. Hanging of the greens. We didn’t stay. Thanksgiving supper at Mills in evening. We didn’t go to it. Rainy and windy in evening.

Called Vern. June still getting tests before starting chemo. School delayed 1 hour. Stormed during night. Baked chocolate chip cookies. Sent some to M Kiechle along with her cake dish. Merrill went for milk.

Cold down to 18°. Sunny all day. I made pumpkin pies for Thursday. I called Jolie. Jim is taking them to Ramada Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. Howard retires from the mill today.

Vern called. June get home today. Dan and Robin got there at 9:30 last night. I called Jim. Washed clothes. Virginia and Gerald Delles’ 50th anniversary.

Thanksgiving. Just a great day together. Dan did most of the cooking. Vern, June, Steve, Kathy, Kristen, Dan and Robin, Bea G. Merrill and I. June gave a beautiful blessing. a special moment.

We got home from Oswego about 12 noon. Ground covered with snow from Mannsville here. Sunny most of the way. We went for groceries in PM. It snowed about 3 inches during night here.

50th anniversary party for Ginny and Gerald Delles at Legion, 4 PM. Snow all gone this morning.

We went to Sunday School 48, and church 50. A very nice sermon. Cloudy, 45°. Belile’s got home from Darcy’s.

Wrote June and Vern. Lazy day. I’m very lame. Gilenda here this morning.

Trustee meeting 7 PM. Merrill went. New addition coming good. Elmer Gleason new Trustee chairman. No school because of ice. Boscheck girls here all day, 8:30-3:30.

Jim on news all day with neighborhood watch program. He called in evening.

We went for groceries. Very cold. UMW covered dish at church. 9 there. Very nice program by Doris. Vern called. June had first chemo treatment in Syracuse today. Beulah Dodges murder solved. Her niece.

I baked stuff for church bazaar. Merrill helped set up for it. Snowy in AM. Ginny called and asked us to a senior citizen Christmas party the 17th. Got cards and letters from Beulah. Got Christmas card from Gloria. Beulah moved last October

Church Bazaar, 10 AM. I made cookies, candy, banana bread, and sandwiches. Pearl Harbor Day, 50 years.

We went to Sunday School 50, and church 71.

Rev. Carol’s birthday. I‘m very lame today. Sent Roy birthday and Christmas cards and letter.

Finished decorating tree and house. Got 4 Florissant bulbs for $10 from Niagara Mohawk. Merrill got hair cut, $5.00.

Our 56th anniversary. Rebekah Christmas meeting, 1 PM. Covered dish. 13 at lodge. Diane R broke her shoulder. We went to Snack Bar for supper. Called June in evening. Vern at meeting. She’s doing okay. Only bad taste in her mouth.

Sunny today. We went for groceries. I made Christmas cookies in PM.

Washed clothes. Wrote Dan and Robin. Also Gloria and Roger. Jolie called. She is doing okay. Could go any time. No school because of flu. Adams and Carthage closed also.

Pack shut in baskets 1 PM. Lots out to help. We delivered 3. Addressed and sent more Christmas cards. Merrill went with garbage. Rainy and cloudy all day.

Sunday School program during church. Very good. Kids played animals. 79 present. Wrapped gifts and PM. Stephanie was over after Times papers.

Cold all day. We went to city to drug store, Seaway, and too see Aunt Maude. Took her church basket and mints from us. She wasn’t as alert today. She had a bad spell last night.
