Sent last of Christmas cards. Merrill sick with flu. Got pretty card from Vern’s. I made Christmas cookies. Warm and no snow.

Dr. Scanlon, 12:30. All okay. He sends Medicare and Blue Cross now. Started October 1st. UMW packed shut-in boxes. I gave apples and oranges. I couldn’t help. Merrill feeling better. We ate at Snack Bar on way home. Still warm.

I made apple pie and candy. Merrill cleaned upstairs. I was sick in evening with diarrhea and bug. Elsie Bacon, 97 died this morning at 5:30 AM. I called for food, UMW.

Gwen Dowel called from California. We went for groceries. Took C box to new neighbor, Allen Wilson in green house. He had heart attack. Rebekah service for Elsie in evening.

I feel terrible. Aunt Maude and Merrill went to Elsie Bacon’s funeral. Vern, June and boys got here about 5:15 PM. We looked at slides in evening. Snowing some.

Boys went into city shopping. Cheryl Ashley brought us gift in PM. June Ridsdale here in evening. Brought a pretty candle. 12-15 kids here singing Christmas Carols. So nice.

Vern’s and us went to Jim’s for day together. So great to be together. All got nice gifts. I didn’t’ feel too good all day.

I’ve felt horrid all day. Not dressed. We went to Christmas eve service at church. Church packed. A lovely candlelight service. Had our gifts when we got home.

Good to see a little snow for Christmas. We went to Jim’s for dinner. Audrey went with us. Jim went to work at 2 PM. Jim’s gave us Sunbeam electric fry pan. LaClair Ponzi called in evening.

Colder. Some snow and some sun. I’ve felt horrid all day. Washed clothes. Merrill went for ginger ale for me. Joey brought us candy. Gary is sick with bug. Marty was over.

My appointment with Dr. Siegel at 10 AM. I have kidney infection plus intestinal bug. He gave me Macrodanlis for infection. Aunt Maude and Audrey called in evening.

We took down tree and decorations. Up to 50° today. I feel horrible. Merrill went over town. Wrote Vern’s.

60-65° and flooding in places. Got C tax notice, $476.45, down $1.31. Merrill went to dump. Washed car. Got note from June. Washed clothes. Feel punk.

We went to Sunday School and church, 55 there. Jim’s here for supper. Flooding terrible in Pulaski and Lowville. My arthritis real bad lately. Nice day but cold wind.

Nice day. Merrill and Wayne H took down Nativity scene. Flooding real bad in city. No special celebration to see New Year in .Watched it on TV.
