Beautiful warm day. Vernon’s appointment with Dr. Kelsey. Had 2 teeth filled. $7.00. Merrill, Jim, & I went to city. Got ceiling tile & kitchen light. Zina McKeever & Merlin Shorkey married today.

Virginia, Edna, Frances, & I, went to Howard’s for fish fry. Mom, Dad, Eleanor, Roberta, & Brenda were here when I got home. Uncle Ray & Aunt Maude were down in evening.

Evelyn Hall & baby came home today. The 4-H boys went to Jefferson County Jail. Jim went with Helen K. Mom, Dad, Eleanor, & girls left at 2:00 PM. Jim mowed yard for first this year & first time with new mower.

Swell day. 72°. Merrill worked at Rappole’s all week. Washed. Marty Rudes, Terry Chamberline, R. Lamoy, & Wesley G., were here to see Jim. I went to Philadelphia to get garden seeds.
