Every day, through most of her life, Beatrice Mildred (Hanson) Tryon, my grandmother, wrote in her diary. This remarkable record documenting 68 of her 93 years of life is a wonderful vision to her remarkable character, the family and friends she loved, and the events of our world. Here for your enjoyment is my Grandmother’s diary. We appreciate any comments, feedback, or remembrances you may have.
The record here is still incomplete as digitizing this handwritten record is quite a task. The thanks for that on-going effort goes to June Tryon, daughter-in-law of Beatrice. That work continues as there are many years of entries still to be added to the site.
For more excellent information about Bea and some great pictures, please spend some time reviewing the work assembled by her niece, Deborah Hanson.
