Dan’s 19th birthday. We went to Sunday School and church, 54 out. Stopped to see aunt Maude. She wants to sleep a lot. snowy and windy. We slept in PM.

No school. winter vacation. Nice day but snowed lightly. Merrill went over to church to put out trash. My arthritis had today. The Morse family are moving out. The farm land sold for $120,000.. Wrote Abby Moyer.

Sunny but cold. Joyce Griffin had gall bladder operation. Vern’s got home tonight.

-10° last night again . We have had so much zero temperatures this winter. Merrill went to bank and post office and store. I feel good today. Sent for Medicare refund. Scanlon, $36.00

Cloudy. I sent for tax refund, $179. Merrill went over to church but didn’t put crash bar on door. Kiechle’s there putting on outside lights on new part.

Snowing. Blue Cross is now $76.44 a quarter. Up $13.44 with less coverage because of Medicare. Merrill went with garbage and to store. I washed clothes.

We went to Sunday School and church, 51 there. Not a bad day here. Only in 30’s. Communion at church.

Merrill worked all PM putting crash bar on church door. Warmer, 41°. Wickes house over town burned last night.

In the 40’s. We didn’t’ go to city. My arms hurting too much. Merrill went up to Horton’s.

Nice day. We went to city. Got eye drops and Zorprin. Got album for anniversary cards. Got tablecloth for breakfast room. Marge H here in evening to get paper signed for Trustees.

Merrill went for groceries. Snowing again and colder. I put anniversary cards in album. Very nice. Talked with Margaret K and Cheryl. Aunt Maude doing okay.

World Day of Prayer at UM Church. We didn’t get to go. Too cold and stormy. Wrote Vern’s. Dairy Herd sellout sign up today. 170 farmers signed up.

Merrill cleaned out driveway. -10 during night. Washed clothes. Merrill cleaned driveway and ran cleaner.

Joey’s 12th birthday. We didn’t go to Sunday School or church. Stormy. Merrill didn’t get driveway cleared in time. Got telephone survey on heart foods.

My arthritis bad all day. Snowy most of day. Warm in evening.

Dr. Sommer, 11:30 AM. Got to have 2 teeth filled on March 31. Merrill worked at church. Took old buffet apart. Administrative Council. Merrill went. I didn’t go. Vern called. They are coming Friday night.

Worked on church Benevolence Book. Rebekah’s. I didn’t’ go. I worked at church on the books. Got everything straightened out. Kiechle’s finished lights. Frieda varnished railing. All finished.

Raining. We went for groceries. Got invited to Bill and Vi’s 50th Anniversary Open House March 23.

Vern and June got here at 6 PM. Spent night. June brought cheesecake with cherries. I made one also. We still think alike. Foggy.

Vern had church meeting in city at 10 AM. They left at 9:30. Still foggy.

Church entrance dedication. MYF served soup and sandwiches. All very nice. 77 out to church. Called Jim’s. They didn’t get out. Cloudy with snow flurries and rain.

Dr. Siegel, 1:45. He put me on Plaquenil Sulfate for a month. $34.00 for 60 pills. We got small microwave oven at Zaire’s. $95.23.

I’ve felt terrible all day. Not dressed all day. Started new medication. Take 2 a day. Merrill did work. In the 40’s and feels like spring.

Windy, but warm, 60°. Merrill saw first robin this year on back lawn. Joey brought me pussy willows. I feel so sore and lame. Got booklet from arthritis foundation.

Colder with snow. Only up to 20°. Dwayne and Darcy here selling daffodils for cancer.

We went for groceries in AM. Eleanor and Roy here for supper. Brought Merrill a birthday cake. Juanita sent him candy she made. Delicious.

Merrill’s 77th birthday. He got more cards.

We went to church, Palm Sunday. Very nice service. Only 68 out. We went to Bill and Vi’s 50th Anniversary Open House. Very nice. Jim, Pat, Jolie and Jill here for supper.

Vern flies to Kansas City. Nice day but cool. Merrill took United Methodist food for Phyllis Perone’s funeral. I’m exhausted today. Sent Juanita, Donnie, and Eleanor birthday cards.

Eleanor’s 55th birthday. Merrill cleaned stove. Looks so nice. Got up to 60° today but windy. Got Easter card and note from Vern’s.

Juanita’s 57th birthday. Donnie’s 16th birthday. A great day. In 70’s. Windy. Merrill and Ben K helped clean up rubbish at church.

Maundy Thursday. Philadelphia and communion, 85 out. We went. Got mum plant at store for Jim’s. We went for groceries in AM. Raining. Vern got home from Kansas City then went with Steve to Florida. Wrote June and Dan. Sent Easter card.

Good Friday. Evans Mills service. We didn’t go. I’ve hurt all day. Bill and Vi’s anniversary.

Thunder storms in AM. Sun out at times. Washed clothes. Merrill washed Buick. He went to dump. Dwayne brought daffodil money for cancer fund.

Easter. We went to church, 101 there. We went to Jim’s for dinner. Audrey, Bob, Barb, Andy and Matt Puffer from Chicago (?) there. A lovely day together. Delicious dinner. Took kids mum plant and candy rabbits.

81° today. Great day. Got letter from Gloria saying Beulah Congdon was in hospital. We called Leslie in evening. She is home. Merrill got hair cut.

Clinic: Merrill 110/72, blood count 11. Mine 140/94, blood count 11.5. I had my hair done. NiMo put on a new meter for us. Got card from Eleanor and Juanita. UMW District meeting at Adams. Only 3 went.

Gehm’s get to Oswego by plane. UMW at Chase Manor Parsonage. Nice meeting. 9 there. Rainy.

We went for groceries. cold. I’m very sore and lame today. Got invitation to Helen and Allen’s 50th anniversary party on May 3rd.

Kathy Paro and boys moved out today. I washed clothes. Merrill cleaned house. He and Harry fixed water pipe at CEC.

We went to Mills and city. Renewed certificate. Got Silverstone cookware, black blouse and burner for stove. Merrill got work pants, 2 pair. Druggist at Fays gave me copy of instructions for Plaquenil. Kathy Paro and boys here. Sgt. Cha and family are buying her house.

Cloudy, rainy day. My arthritis very bad. I over did at city. Vern called from city. Was at Dr. Scanlon’s. Gehm’s got moved in all okay.

I feel terrible yet today. Rebekah’s, but I didn’t go.

Merrill went for groceries. Ground covered with snow in AM. Snowed off and on all day but it melted as fast as it came.
