Mrs. Hogan 88 today. We went to Sunday School and church. Lots out. Started snowing about 8 AM. Snowed all day. Very wet. We took down tree and decorations and put them away. 35° in evening.

Cleaned house. Marva called to ask me to teach Esther’s class at Released time. got Christmas pictures back. Good. Merrill went to Theresa for furnace door cement. Put some on furnace. Got invitation to shower for W. Graham’s girl friend this Friday.

Bible Study. Good turnout. Good to be back. Got tax notice, $210.72. WSCS at Marguerite. Week of Prayer and Self Denial program. Nice program but only 9 out to it. Marion Schell called to ask us to go to couples club with them.

Sent Ken card, and letter. I taught Released Time class for Esther T, Had 12 girls and boys. I went to Bible Study with Ruth in evening to Parsonage. Very cold in evening, 14° Sent Merrill’s accident insurance, $19.

Jim goes to VA Hospital in Syracuse for tests. Took X-rays. Finished Ruth’s book, Prison to Praise. Merrill plowed out driveways to push snow back. Bill M here with fuel oil. Ken’s 52nd birthday,

Shower at Payne’s for Barbara Salter (Wesley Graham) I went. Nice time. About 25 there. Windy and slippery. Phone out. I reported it at Payne’s. Called patty. Jim just had back x-rays. One [side] is shorter than the other.

I got up at 5 AM to go to Full Gospel Bus. Men’s Fellowship at Syracuse. We went with Mattingly’s. Mary Washburn, Willabelle B, and Ruth Eg. Leland Shannon and Harry Gleason came after 6 heifers. Paid $1300 for them. I washed clothes in evening. Sharon Hall won 4-H trip to Montreal.

Jolie is 6 months old today. Finished book. Washed clothes. A beautiful spring like day. Merrill went to Philadelphia and Mills. Paid up feed bill at Agway. He washed the car. I got calendar appointment book from 4-H

Bible Study. Good turn out. About 20. We went to city in PM. Got blue blouse and cloth for slacks. Called Jim’s from city. Merrill paid Fry’s for snow scoop. We have all our bills paid. Feels good. A beautiful spring like day. No snow. Roads dry. Washed my hair.

Rebekah’s DDP’s visit. Gave Lillian Certificate of Proficiency. 25 there. Sent for Christianity Today magazine, $7.50. Released time, 11 kids. Good day. Merrill worked on little tractor. Put back “soft plug”. Beautiful warm day.

Gladys Lamon’s birthday, 62. 20th anniversary of the “Today Show”. Colder but nice day. I went to Philadelphia for groceries and to bank. Made navy slacks. Cleaned house. Got letters from Uncle Berl and June and Vern.

Full Gospel Bus. Breakfast, Hotel in city. Father Walters speaker. I didn’t go. First Planning meeting for building project at church, 14 there. Jim and Pat and Jolie here when we got home. Here for supper and evening. Church in evening. Father Walters, 8 PM. We didn’t go.

12° below zero in AM. Below zero all day. We went to church and Sunday School. Father Walters and “Jesus Love In”. Young folks, Adams, spoke. We went to Charge Conference at church, 3 PM. We called at Philadelphia funeral home for Howard Whitford, age 89.

Beulah Congdon’s birthday, 60 years. Sent Doreen card and letter. I went to Bible Study with Ruth. Marion S here collecting for flowers for Mrs. Wilmert. Up to 40° in evening. Howard was over.

Another beautiful day. Wrote Vern’s. Sent taxes, $210.92. Snowing hard in PM and evening. We went to Philadelphia for groceries. Car not working right. Hard to start. Raymond Nicholas stopped in today. They live at Antwerp. Vern and June called in evening.

Warm today. Up to 42°. Raining in evening. We went to city and Adams Center. Got long skirt material at Miller’s. Made it in evening. Called Jim’s. Wesley Graham and Barbara Salter married today. Jim’s 4th anniversary as a policeman.

Bible Study. Not as many out because of high winds. Blew all night. Lots of damage. Snowing and blowing terrible on way home. More roof off on IOOF. Sina and Merlin Shorkey have boy, Joel Stea..[?] born at 8 AM, 9 lb, 2 oz.

3 feet of snow in 24 hours in Oswego County today. A nice summer day here but cold. I taught Released time. Cold at church. I went to Rebekah’s with Mary. It was so cold we only had a short meeting.

Still snowing in Oswego County. 4 feet in some places. Nice here. We went to Philadelphia for groceries. Merrill paid IOOF dues to Carl. They are working on Lodge roof. Edith Seeley’s, 85, went to hospital by ambulance. Slight stroke. Snowing in evening.
