Stormy day most schools closed. Snowy and windy. No dinners brought. Judy and Lyla from Chase Manor came over and Judy cut Merrill’s hair. She used to cut his hair years ago in Watertown on Coffeen Street and in Philadelphia in the Odd Fellows Building. It’s so good to have a barber cut his hair. I have her $10. She didn’t want to take that much. She will do it for him in the future. Merrill got spruce green pants and flannel shirt and 3 pair cotton shorts in mail from Blair’s. Very pretty.
