Labor Day. No mail. Rain in morning. Partly sunny in PM. Sue Boschock came in morning. She had taken Bob to Syracuse to fly to Louisiana with the soldiers. We ate lunch in the cafeteria at Genesis. We went to see Merrill before and after lunch. Sue’s mother died this summer. Sue was with her at the time. It was good to hear about all the Philadelphia folks. Sue saw a moving van at Clark and Vivian’s house. Jim, Nancy, Shawn Michael stopped by so I could tell him good-bye.
