He’s on oxygen. I’m not going out to see him today. The nurse said he was sleeping all the time. I called Jim at Nancy’s and told him not to come after me. Joel and Camille got home at 3 AM. Drove straight through. 14 ½ hours. The nursing home called in PM and said Merrill was worse. She had trouble contacting his doctor. They took him down for X-rays. They showed he had a light case of pneumonia. Jim and Nancy came after me and brought me home. Sue was at the hospital nursing home to see Merrill. I called Lyla and Vernon’s. Lyla said Edna Fikes 88 died yesterday.
