Diary Entry for 8/3/1997

Cloudy day but sunny by spells. 75° We went to Ecumenical church service at Legion Pavilion. Boschocks came for us and brought us home. A lovely service. Our church for Quaker Days had a float in the parade. Folks in it, Rev. E White, Sue and Bob Boschock, Nancy and Wayne Huntress, Marie and Hake Ambrose, Sharie, Jennie and Jimmy Purcell, Karen Lynch, Ellen Childs, Glen Cook, Marge Heck, Merrill and I. Marty Ellis drove tractor. Alice Flaherty, Joanne Rappole, Rev Elaine and Sue played guitars and Bob tambourine and we all sang. We had chicken bar-B-Q at legion. Very good. I got circle ring at Betty Rudes booth. A part of George Water’s Jewelry.
