Bennett’s were here. Merrill went to Antwerp with them for shingles for barn. Cleaned. Jim is better.

Aunt Myrtle Hogaboom died this morning. Aunt Keitha called me at the shop. Virginia & Arlene paid me. Wrote Uncle Berle.

Wrote Vernon. Nellie paid me. Very stormy off & on. Talked with Mom at Uncle Earle’s. Ed Bennett was here all day. Got letter from Mom.

Aunt Myrtle’s funeral. Raining. I worked in AM. Took PM off. I didn’t go to cemetery. I went to Rebekah’s in evening. Mary Hall went with me. Ed Bennett was here.

Terrible icy when I went to work. Basil Hanson had bad accident. Is in hospital. Called Aunt K. Merrill went to shop.

Had thunder storm during night. Rained all day. Lots of water around. Julie & Mrs. LaBarge paid me.

Put $80.00 in Vernon’s account. Got letter from Vern. Will be home next weekend. Ed.B was here for dinner. Men put vent in barn. Jim has temperature of 103° in evening.

Swell day. Merrill & Ed finished putting in ventilator. Called Aunt Keitha. Basil is still in hospital.

Wrote letter to Roberta & got birthday card ready to sent her. Nice day. Rainy in evening.

Snowed in PM. Jim went back to school today. Has been home since February 25. Jim got “get well” card from Roberta. I didn’t go to grange.

Vernon came home on bus today. First time since January 31. Ann, Julie, Marion, & I went to A&P this noon. Florence B. called.

Vernon did wiring for Howard. Jim went to all day 4-H meeting at Calcium with Ceil. Took Vernon to Theresa for wire.

Grand day. Finished ironing. Had turkey dinner. Took Vernon to city at 9:00 PM.

I gave blood at the blood clinic at Philadelphia school. Roads very slippery when we went to work. Got my lamp from $1.00 a week club.

Beautiful day. Frogs are sure hollering tonight. Vernon got home for Easter vacation. Jim had revaccination & tetanus shot.

Nice day. Jim & I went to grange but did not have Juvenile grange. Cut out Brenda’s coat. Got stuck in mud in driveway.

Had flat tire on car in morning. Bob Coco took girls to work. Raining & snowy.

They finished end of barn. Nice day but cold. Nellie & Julie paid me. My only riders today. Made cookies in evening. Mom & Dad went to Uncle Rays.

Mom & Dad came home from Uncle Rays. Mom brought me 6 cups. Made Brenda summer coat. Made Dad a birthday cake.

Easter Sunday. Boys went to Easter breakfast. Dad, Mom, Ken’s & Don’s were here for dinner. Dad’s birthday. Vernon gave Merrill & Jim a candy card. Lyla & Jim & Gary were here.
